
The Project:
This was a new title for Chip Theory Games. The best and worst part of this design was that it was all new and didn’t have to match the previous steampunk theme of the Too Many Bones or Triplock series. The biggest challenge was the chips. There are at least nine different pieces of information that had to fit on each one, and they are only 1.5625″ round. Not to mention the fact that as soon as I got a template figured out, a new piece of information would be added or a name would be lengthened. And, we always try to make the artist’s work as prominent as possible. In addition to the game pieces, we also did a Scenario and Lore Book, which ended up being over 100 pages. It was fun to read the stories and add art that supplemented them on each page.
